GDPR has been in full force for almost a year. As of January, national data protection authorities reported nearly 100,000 complaints from concerned citizens.

GDPR compliance is an ongoing process and did not end on 25 May 2018. We have updated our GDPR guide to focus on continuous compliance. The guide is suitable for both organisations who are fully compliant and those who have yet to reach full compliance.

VinciWorks to release new GDPR training

Staff should regularly carry out GDPR training to ensure that they continue to respect and protect individuals’ personal data. VinciWorks will be adding a new course, GDPR: A Practical Overview, to its current GDPR training suite to help staff maintain awareness of GDPR requirements year after year. The training will cover both general GDPR guidance and advanced training for departments such as HR, marketing and IT that require specialised modules.
